Mapleshade's Revenge Chapter Twenty-nineSlowly Mapleshade backed away to the shore. The river behind her was ironically silent, and the only sound that was audible was the faint lapping at the stepping stones. She felt she had a rock in her belly: her kits were dead...every single one of them...drowned...washed away...in the paws of StarClan.
"Mapleshade?" The ginger she-cat turned to see Stormbranch crouching over the other side of the river, in his territory. "What's going on? What are you doing here?"
Mapleshade felt the words slipping out of her mouth, like a fish. "The kits...the kits have drowned..." she choked as she slid next to him.
Stormbranch's eyes widened. "What?"
He sounded angry, which made Mapleshade's insides sting a little. "I-I'm sorry", she whimpered, her voice wobbling. "I-I-I lost them in the river and I-"
The tabby tom paused for a heartbeat, then curled his lip. "How could you let our kits drown?" he yowled.

I absolutely adore this picture!

Now down to business

Nays first:
The ears, tail, and muzzle could be worked on. The anatomy is a bit off, The back is kinda shaped weird.. The eye o.o is.. weird. (NO OFFENSE)

Yays now: The fur is perfect,, the paws are perfect, (considering how I fail at paws)
I love the grass, how you made that. I wouldnt have the patients XD
The blood is awesome

how some is lighter than others..I feel like you did shading but I cant see any..

Well thats all i have to say :3 Sooo.. 5 stars!!!

*This is my first critique*

First of all wonderful picture! I love the blood work effects, lovely job. I do see some areas on the cat that should be colored in, keep an eye out for those! (I have those sometimes too when I draw on my computer haha) The anatomy is wonderful and I really like the pose~ The paws could use some work though as well as the claws but other wise this is a really nice piece! (The eye also needs to be a bit smaller as well)I love the blending on the fur and the background is great! (I suck at backgrounds OnO)

But all in all this is an awesome picture!! You have a great talent~ (also I really hope this is a fair critique QnQ I don't want to sound too mean because this is a really cool pic!!!!)
